It appears the development team and us as fans thinking two dimensionally on how roles are assigned. Really big things such as squad leader respawns and ammunition deployments are done far too simply. it appears that we've forgotten that this PlanetSide battle is actually from all dimensions: sea, land, air, and space.
Deployments from space are far more essential now than ever before. They also fix a lot of problems. Instead of deploying a person on the squad leader immediately, you could deploy them in a drop pod with a varying degree of landing precision from space. Instead of throwing down an ammo box or have an engineer build it, a squad leader or CR could order one from a deployment station in space.
These deployments, of course, would have their drawbacks. Vapor trails from entering the atmosphere let other people know that someone is dropping something somewhere. Getting from space to the ground takes time. You can't deploy ammo or respawn in buildings - deployments would land outside. Landing could be noisy.
The solutions are all in the lore, and it's not just "Nanites". It's a space battle, we should be Warhammer 40king it.
