I was just pooondering, and I wondered, are the mines conventional mines? Or like futuristic? Cause I was wondering if the vanu buggy and tank could just cruise over em, that would be quite an advantage hehe.

Remember reading that they were proximity, so dont need to step on them to go kablooey.

You just have to be near them. I belive if your walking you can get past them.

I think (not sure) he meant do they know who's on who's team. Like say I'm NC and I plant mines at my teams front door to a base. Would some NC buggies be able to go over them without the mines going off.

They are probably only detonated by enemies. It would be illogical to have "dumb" mines, if your faction goes and plants a mine, and you don't know and walk over it, and die that would piss alot of people off. Also it is detonated by hovering vehicles, and low flying aircraft.
yeah it would be dumb if they blew up on you...but then again isnt it dumb that you teemate can shoot you?

No, I like friendly fire, adds more realism, but as with everything you have costs... TK'ers (*team killers)

I agree with Korezero about the FF aspect on both sides, realism and tks. Lets hope teh grief system will help keep them at bay.
(Just thought of a flaw, what if u piss someone off {by accident or on purpose} and they want to kill u. The grief system won't do much from one TK and it goes away eventualy. well, guess u can't stop all the tking atless ur psychic.)
