Had an interesting discussion a few days ago. Im sure you all know of Area 51, the UFO that supposedly crashed and the goverment conspiracy to cover it up, etc.

Theres been various documentries on it. Witnesses, etc. I didnt have much of an opinion of it besides the fact that -something- happened, since something like this couldnt have just been a rumor that spread around the world. However, the most convincing one ive seen took a different approach from the other ones.

It started with saying that a UFO crashed into a field. A farmer called in the nearby general of a military installation. The general inspected it and for 3 days he was as clueless as the population. Suddenly one day the goverment moves in and takes it away and the general starts saying it was an advanced weather balloon that crashed. This program, using un-classified info, showed that the goverment spent millions of dollars transporting, etc. an 'advanced weather ballon'. Suddenly Area 51 pops up and people are shot on sight if they try to get into the compound.

Another little fact : The general took a piece of the wreckage. It was a piece of amazingly strong sheet of metal that you could squish up into a ball like plastic-wrap and would spring back to its original shape.

Ill try looking for a site with some info on it.

Forgot : It also said that fiber optics may have come from study of the UFO.

I doubt fiber optics came from UFO's.

Fiber optics are not advanced technology at all. All you need is a basic understanding of refraction to see how it works.

The ability to send data via light pulses (through fiber optics) is alot more complicated but is in no way beyond human ability.
It is not that dissimilar to sending information via electric pulses.

Area 51 is a very delicate topic. I would suggest that such comments as these cease immediatly.

Suffice it to say that Area 51 is no more than an advanced military testing ground. This black site testing facility was home to the F117 before hackers released the projects shematics to foreign powers.

Remember, gentlemen, science is thirty years ahead of the public's knowledge.

Afterall, we must ease into new ways of thinking.

Actually, it is fact, government admitted fact (they admitted this is why they started it, but deny it ever existed, go figure...) that the groom lake facility (which is in the nuclear testing grid 51) was established to develop the U2 spy plane, then it helped with the line of spy planes you know, sr-71 and such, but also developed stealth technology, nuclear power, nuclear tests, human enhancement tests, and many other things. Extensive research has shown that the thing that crashed in roswell may veru well be a 'weather baloon' but not in the traditional sense.

All non government evidence (and even some of thier own) points to a baloon like device made out of new material (supposedly still unknow to the public) that is very strong, flexible, but had a 'memory' if you follow me. It appears to have been used to test the new materials, as well as research into chemical deployment using wind, delivery of atomic bombs from baloons disguised as clouds (still not sure how this works) it may have been saucer shaped, and most likely had dummies in it to test the possibility of manning the craft. The standard dummies at the time were about four feet tall, with slender arms and legs, anf VERY large eyes, with only slight indications of nose and mouth, all of these were primitive sensors to test pressure/noise/gasses/heat etc. Of course, I'm REALLY not telling you this from firsthand experience, these are just rumors...

Of course, noone can conclusively prove that's what it was, because even if that's what it was, the government is still testing it. In fact, the average civilian does not know half of the power our government scientists posses, and cannot use because it is just too far ahead. I REALLY, don't know anymore.

I dont see why you find this topic so unsuitable. There's nothing wrong with showing interest in "aliens". If almost sounds like you think the government is gonna shut this site down or somthin cause were talkin about some secret organization they may or may not have.
