I don't see it....seems like a bunch pissed of Mass effect 3 gamers.
I mean they publish good games...They have a bunch of meh games to make money, no doubt...sure I hate them for killing off NFL 2k games and hate a lot of their meh games they do but they arn't the worst company in america.
I guess thats how much ME players are about the ending....that they will vote for EA even tho they love ME series except for the ending.
Kind of sad really.

Except EA isn't responsible for the good of ME, Bioware is.
EA are infamous for treating their staff terribly, treating their customers terribly and interfering with games with terrible executive decisions. The ME3 debacle certainly didn't help matters, but EA have had a rock-bottom reputation for a long time.

I just woke up and don't feel like getting in to it, because I hate EA with a passion.
But there is a very long list for why they're a horrible company.

My loathing for EA gets no exceptions. I don't care how good a game is, if it has EA's stamp, it doesn't get my money. I won't even think twice about it.

You'd think that would be a wake-up call for EA when a video game fans beat environmentalists over which company is the worst company in America. But of course, they don't care. And I'm not surprised, when millions of people will buy a full priced game from them every year despite it being pretty much the same game(I'm looking at you Madden).
I'm not gonna stop buying games I think are interesting(Mass Effect, Dead Space, etc...), but the quality of games noticeably diminish when a studio is bought by EA.

That's one of the biggest issues, their customer service attitude. Their response to this award was only finger pointing at other companies and then bragging about their big games. Any other business dealing with customers would say something as generic as "You're concern is vital and we will make sure this feedback goes to the right people" it doesn't imply guilt, or fault, it's just good customer service.
EA's motto is "Just piss'em off, they'll pay anyway"

Acting like a monopoly... Someone just needs to come along and offer something better ;) Hopefully PS2 will fill part of this role :)

Decent as in Battleflashlight 3? or is it Battlespawnkill 3? I can never remember because it is the only game you can die 6 times in 13 seconds of total game time when you join part way through.
madden 990001020304050607080910111213? whats the differenve, its all the same and the controls on tecmobowl still kick its ass.
mistaketoreleaseffect 3? because we all have to follow exact scripts to experience a story...remember the '80s?
EA will turn a profit for as long as they dont have to defend a persistent product like an MMO. SWTOR platers are bailing faster than homeowners on mortgages. EA wont make another costly error like that. Hell I logged out of SWTOR and back into a 9 year old game I beta'd in 2k3 called Planetside.
Imagine Planetside 2 by EA. yeah depressing thought. Then we could have flashlights being the win factor on Auraxis along with worst spawning setup in history.. nah Ill keep Sony Online.

Ubisoft and EA should have a shared first place.

-snip-
The battlefield games are good. You really can't dispute that. Maybe they've gone downhill a bit but they're still good.
Mirror's Edge was good. I think there's plans for a second one, not sure though.
And don't complain about EA's sports games being the same every year. how the hell are you supposed to innovate on what is, essentially, a sports simulator?
CoD games (were at least) a good bit of mindless fun. MW3 would be a good game if it weren't exactly the same as MW2.
SSX - one of the best series of games I have ever played.
EA DO make good games but it's no secret that they are a sh*tty company.

EA might be the worst company making video games, but they'd have a hard competition with Activision and Ubisoft for that title.
But at the end of the day, no matter how greedy they are, no matter how many beloved IPs they ruin, or how shitty their customer service is, how much illicit information they vacuum with Origin, or how many innocent gamers they accidentally ban and rob of their games collection . . . they're still just making video games.
They don't compare to Blackwater (or whatever the private Republican army is calling itself these days), Halliburton, any of the oil companies involved in hydrofracking, any of the nuclear power plant operators who cut corners on safety measures, fractional reserve banks, arms dealers like Boeing or Lockheed, government mandated private insurance companies (car insurance, and soon health insurance, ideally both would be run by the State and paid for with income tax), factory farms, logging companies that cut down redwoods and old growth forests, coal mines that don't handle their waste appropriately, etc . . .
I don't see it....seems like a bunch pissed of Mass effect 3 gamers.
And BF gamers who feel entitled to patches, throwing a collective tantrum.

Doesn't matter if what they sell is video games, they sell a product and cheat their customers. Then beat the shit out of their customers.
