anyone seen the movie "iron sky" yet?

Iron Sky (2012) - Trailer [HD] - Englisch - YouTube

haven´t seen it yet, but it´s in the cinemas right now and sounds very interesting. and the trailer looks amazing for a swarm-raised 7mil budget feature film internet project.

it´s about nazis that left earth during ww2 to build a secret base on the dark side of the moon. and now they are coming back to get some iphones to power their secret weapon ufos for an invasion on earth. sounds stupid enough to make for a great trash movie ;)

anyone already seen it? is it worth watching?
now this is what i think of, when i hear terran republic ;)

I saw the preview for this a while ago, I really want to see it but I don't pay for my movies anymore?

World War 2 alternate history stuff is cool but the trailer looked fairly shit. I didn't realize it was going to be a comedy. I remember hearing about it a while ago, and I thought it'd be more of a highly stylized sort of action movie, like 300. Making it Mars Attacks but with Nazis who speak English in bad accents is lame.

Yeah the president palin and the horrendously bad "stereotype UN meeting" sketch kind of killed it for me. The CGI looks awesome otherwise.

Their Palin is dumb in a bad way. Tina Fey did a hilarious one and Julianne Moore did a very accurate one. Theirs is dumb in that campy Scary Movie sort of way, where they aren't even trying and that in itself is I guess supposed to be funny.

Pass. not sure what to think of this movie. warborn said it right. oooouuu look good CGI, wait im getting the mars attacks vibe, is this a comedy or an action thriller? most likely will fall short on both

Was hoping for something like Sky Captain. But sadly this is not what this is.

a friend has seen it and was impressed by its actual political relevance. he said, the film makes a lot of references that match the actual global situation. the visuals are of blockbuster quality, and the story is a little trashy.

so i guess, as a trash fan, i will at least get the bluray, when it comes out. no 3d in cinemas, anyways.

Wow, this movie looks fucking awesome. Also seems to get a fairly good combined score on IMDB (7,7 as of writing) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1034314/

Damn, looks like there isn't a release date here in Holland. I hope they announce something soon.
