This may have been discussed before but there are so many topics on "CHECK OUT THIS SCREENSHOT" there's no way a search will ever narrow my chances of checking. On to the topic
http://planetside.stratics.com/content/gallery/360/tr_soldiers.shtml
In this shot, rotate it around behind the soldier, see what they are looking at? What does this? How? Is that like, spycam or something? Possibly the view of another player? Security camera on the outside of a base?
Does anyone know? I haven't seen anything about such things and have read most anything I come across. I just thought it looked cool and if it was, maybe the view of another player - it'd be quite useful. :)

Most likely you're allowed a third person perspective as well as the standard first person. Probably designed for vehicles but works with infantry too.

I'm in reference to the moniters on the wall. :p
I'm pretty sure you can go into third person myself anyway. See the moniters though? Got an opinion on them. :-/

Yes, there are security cameras I believe so that would fit your theory.

would be kool if there was somekind of main guard room, where there are much of those monitors, when someone comes in you could see them then and they are lookin around then firing the camera into 1000 pieces :) time to defend!

This could be the birth of a new cert: Security guard. :D You would need this cert to watch the security cameras.
Security Guard : This cert allows the player to sit in a comfy chair and watch the security monitors. Note this cert drains a stamina per short bursts when the player needs to get up and refill his coffee and get another donut.
Adv. Security Guard : Same as Security Guard but prevents the player from turning his head at the same moment an enemy appears on screen thus increasing the effectiveness of his job.

SWG has billions of um. Basically they have oneperson circle around taking screen shots until he gets a full rotation, then they use photoshop so its not all choppy.

i think i've got it finally, check this one out much monitors here:
http://planetside.stratics.com/content/gallery/360/tr_soldier.shtml
Ok so i hope you've noticed: EVERY SINGLE MONITOR HAS THE SAME PICTURE, so its nothing but some decoration, useless stuff and btw, would there be security camera's in somekind of desert? i don't think so; problem solved; just decoration! (nice decoration)
Yeah i saw that and thought that too but it could be because
1-Beta so they haven't implemented the whole system yet.
or
2-You can only view one cam at a time or something likee that.
and yeah
3-Just some deco stuff. :)

Are you talking about those 2 moniters pics changing between screen shots? I hope it's a camra, not changing pics for deco.
