How do you make a movie from a game that does not have demo/recording ?

Either with a software program (cant think of any now) or a hardware capture card.

One way is to plug a digital camcorder in the back of your Vid card

You could use a software program such as fraps.

I tried to take a video capture for Renegade, and my 2.0 ghz 512 DDR with 64mb GeForce4 was going about 3 frames per second while recording as compared to my 70 normal.

In other words, Software Video Capturing takes a TON of system resources. I tried 4-5 different programs, they we're all the same.

Thnx, is it possible to output it into a t.v. and use a vcr and record it too ? but I guess that wouldnt be as good as the camcorder thing :D
