hi guys.

i was thinking of knocking out a few wallpapers and was wondering what size would be best these days to fit most peoples screens?

good question. possibly get away with it if they use rocket pods. id say a hole will be easier to do then empty racks. cant see why they cant though.

alot seem to be 1920x1080 so might aim for that. hve to see how images look ect. been a while since i did wallpapers. spec game ones. normally sigs for the car web sites im on. lol

Those arn;t the actual rockets, they are the holders for the rocket i would presume, because it would be better than exposed rockets because then you would need to code in if they got hit they would explode and stuff, so when you fire them the aircraft will still look the same.

Actually, that would be a level of immersion that would be unprecedented in multiplayer video games(I suspect it's been done to one degree or another in single player). By this I mean - anti-materiel sniping; using a .50 or other armor piercing sniper rifle to shoot the warheads/guidance system off of missiles as they hang off aircraft, for example.

For some reason that sounds familiar to me, maybe i game i played years ago where if an explosion hit you while you had rockets on you they exploded or something, but i can't remember what its from...

And probably in those scenes it was scripted to do that at that time and probably couldn't be repeated anywhere else in the game.

Well, I played the demo of Sniper Elite V2 and I've gotten some kills from where I hit the grenade that was hanging off the belt of an enemy. It's difficult to do on purpose but possible. It makes for a very satisfying kill, though!

my monitor at home is that so i might make them instead. they can scale up ok for people with higher rez i reckon.

Well, I played the demo of Sniper Elite V2 and I've gotten some kills from where I hit the grenade that was hanging off the belt of an enemy. It's difficult to do on purpose but possible. It makes for a very satisfying kill, though!

I watched a gameplay video of that game, that looks soo awesome and watching a montage of groin shots... soo many balls destroyed in 5 minutes. :eek:

And that might be where i saw people's grenades being exploded. Funny to see that as well.

lol very sneaky. im normally a sniper in FPS's so you can imagine how sneaky ;)

with the pics floating around this is all i can do atm. but as more stuff coms out i will make more so keep an eye out.
hopefully E3 will get alot of new screen shots and pics.

another TR one

here is a test of a NC aircraft firing. not finished as damage has to be put on the TR one but might make as large wallpaper or part of a wallpaper. smoke taken and modified from the front of an A10 firing. had to add some more smoke to try and get the look of air flow. still some work to do on it though :)

ok here a new NC wallpaper. done one with the PS2 logo and one without as not sure if i like it on or not. also not sure about the dmg on the TR aircraft, took a while to do all the mods to make them look like part of the pic. the smoke from the NC gun was a pain lol. still not sure about any of it but i hope you like :)

If you can make one, i'll be forever grateful!

Maybe do a Vanu one without a huge logo of them somewhere? :P

I don't know why but lots of the Vanu wallpapers have a huge Vanu Sovereignty and their symbol on them while the other faction's symbols are less prominent.

lol ye now you mention it i have only 1 where the vanu logo isnt huge in the mid :P

will make some more so will prob make some of the other guys with bigger logos maybe.
i think its the shape of the vanu logo which lends itself to the idea of being in the mid ect. will have a play though. all comments are welcome :) cheers
