New ScreenShots and Release date (A CLUE?)

i have my dounts still about the release of the game by March 30th but in the past few days there have been a lot i mean a lot of screen shots and they look a lot better then any ive seen. this reallt has me thinking ... how far are they to release? Before this week the screen shots told me otherwise but now im thinking the game might be out by april 15th :-) what do you think?

PS must almost go for gold this week if they wana release it in the end of this month. But devs said they are expecting up to 500 or even 1000 players join the tests soon. :) I think however they will release the game in the beginning of next month. :(

well...considering the "mass" beta test only just started (and it's not even "massive" yet)....the earliest i see this game coming out is may/june.

im affraid though that if it dosnet come out (or go gold) whats stoping them from delaying it for a month to make improvments you know. I wanna play it so bad but at the same time i want it to be perfect.

PSU is starting a new weekly feature! SOE has allowed us to start posting weekly screenshots from the most recent PlanetSide beta builds.
With that to consider...sounds like it will not make it! I'm thinking the soonest possible release would be mid/late April....as late as June(God I hope not!):scared:

I heard that Dave signed in blood that the game would come out in March.

PS will most likely go gold while beta is still going on. They will just have to do major patching when it finally hits the stores.

If they have not released a date at this point most likely it WILL NOT be March Q1. They usually will say a release date 1 month or more before release and they still have not said a word.

EB Games is posting a May 5th release. Of course, their release dates change frequently. But, up until a week ago, they still had it set for March release, so maybe they know something we don't. After all, they are the one who are gonna be selling it.

The last official word about release was "early summer". This means we *could* wait until June or even July. Judging by the speed at which they are running beta, and the fact that they are still finding several bugs each time they have a battle, I would say they are quite a ways away from gold.

Frankly, it's fine with me. I mean sure I would love to play it, but I believe Sony is doing the right thing with this Beta process. Not to mention the fact that they are taking the beta testers suggestions in to fine tune the game.

Sony knows full well people will not pay a subscription for a game that is not rock solid. I don't expect it release bug free, but it will probably be cleaner than 95% of the games that hit store shelves. Their success relies on it.

Last night I stopped at the mall to pick up a couple of items and decided to see what EB had down for a date of release. It is no longer the 5th of May...now it is the 20th of May!!:tear:
