One thing is for sure - it's cool looking!

It looks great, wonder if we are going to see things like geysers in-game?

If I was to look at it and name a Planetside original continent ... Hossin would be on my list a little before Amerish to be honest.

Would be awesome if the Geyser decided to explode while some vehicle was driving on top of it - environmental deaths ftw.

Wow, that looks amazing, I may use it as a new wallpaper. Also, I do think it could be a new Hossin(if it is, it's done a lot better than the boring swamp in PS1). Geysers FTW.

I can see this world getting better and better by the day.

Love to see a pic with some rain tho.

I'd say Searhus, the landscape, with the geysers, looks volcanic.

Good call, would have to agree.

I certainly don't remember Amerish to have such features.

Same, it says Searhus to me as well.

yea, could be amerish, could be searus, anyway I want a treehouse in one of those trees and live there, what a view! :)

Could it be Amerish?

No.

I'd say Solsar. It looks too barren for Hossin, Forseral or Searhus, but too humid for Ishundar or Oshur. The smallish mountains remind me of Solsar and I feel like that'd be the most humid/damp of the "barren" continents (hence the geysers, a little swampland etc).

Edit: For some reason the posts from the last half hour weren't showing up. I guess it could be Searhus, but then I wouldn't expect the slight swampiness.

Thats certainly a geyser, leads me to believe there is going to be a lot of volcanic activity on this new continent.

It's a geyser (as you say) and some standing water is expected and again parts of searhus are pretty barren.

otoh, that big moon is reminicient of amerish.

Just noticed it's concept art, not a screenshot.

I've just been browsing the media and this new (lovely!) screenshot brings it home that a LOT of the screenies have had zero infantry cover. I suppose that's the different environments they're trying to create. But have we seen a forest yet?

I'm guessing searhus or hossin...

The SS Pig posted of the Lib cockpit view had a forest, no? Might just have been some trees, can't remember...

Loving it. Looks like it could be Solsar, Oshur, or Searhus. If they want to add to or improve Amerish I don't have a problem with that. Fewer conts means that they'll have to combine features to allow for diversity of areas. I'm just really happy they're adding geological features like geysers and those delightful incredibly dangerous colorful pools. I've been to Bumpass Hell (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=Bumpass%20hell&biw=1495&bih=892&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi&ei=DH6xT6-SE-TI2wXS4ITUCw) and there are warnings all over about the mud being several hundred degrees. Hmm... mud pots, another reason for the superiority of the Magrider!

Geysers in Amerish? Why? Geysers are related to hotspots and volcanic activity. Sounds more like Searhus. Thought they were workin on Searhus at one point, why not put em there, dont get it on Amerish unless the idea for the cont is totally different now.

Searhus was my fave cont by far, with so much variety in terrain and playstyles it was different playing in every part of the cont. Island fights, bridge fights, cauldron fights, narrow canyon fights, high altitude mountain fights, jungle fights, rolling plains fights, water battles, and more. It was awesome. I hope that same idea of a volcano centric island is kept for ps2. And those geysers would be a perfect fit.

If you look at the released screen shot of the VS Sniper. It appears that its raining and it looks like the rain is impacting the ground and running off. At least that what it seems to me. Also the Geizers would iondicate to me volcanic activity thus Searhurs but who knows.

I vote Solsar.

Or Searhus.

Well if it is Amerish, I think this thread is evidence of Amerish not looking the way people expect Amerish to look.

I agree if he ask could this be Amerish must be he is implying . Just saying that in ps 1 volcanic activity was limited to serhurs. Also didn't they say they would launch with 3 conts, Indar, Cyssor and Essamir?

Toppopia

Pretty sure it was Amerish and they intend it to be primarily for open field vehicle battles.

I can imagine the BF3 single player scene, when you drive through the desert, but with way more aircraft fighting/exploding.

I love the idea of a volcanic/geothermal area, they have an excuse to make some brilliant, beautiful alien vistas and they should use that artistic license to the max. The areas we saw of Indar looked great, but we could have overgrown jungle, barren and rocky areas, arctic wastes to fight in.

I always thought of Amerish as verdant green countryside, nothing harsh about it at all. I agree the geysers feel more like Searhus to me, basically anything that looks volcanic / Icelandic.
