Is this overkill for a 3570K at 4.5 GHz?

Yep, you only need a Hyper 212 or other good air cooler for 4-4.5, above that to just under 5 ghz is water.
Totally depends if you want to spend as little as possible for cooling or going higher. I would take the Corsair Hx0 series over the Antec though.

I'm thinking of going higher than 4.5 GHz. I'm thinking 4.7 would be the max I anticipate going.
For air, I'm thinking the Havik 140. Goku, why do you suggest the Corsair over the Antec?
Corsair has a 5 year warranty on their Hx0 series, which is 2 years longer then Antec. Plus Corsair will cover any parts in your computer if its damaged by the liquid in those coolers leaking. I am not sure if Antec does this.

Thanks for the advice. Looks like the H100 is no more expensive than the 920.
I really like the Havik 140, I'm just not sure it would be able to handle the 3570K past 4.5.
TBH I just overlooked the reviews on the Havik 140, I don't see any reason why it cannot handle the 3570K. Seems to keep up with the well known air CPU coolers with no problem at all. What case do you have? Just make sure there is proper room for this before ordering.
The H100 is really a custom Hx0 series cooler and really only supports Corsair's cases. I don't know of any others off the top of my head that fully support it, I've seen mods but they are quite ugly.
Havik itself will keep up with the H80 I'm pretty sure too, and maybe even out do it in certain areas.

Funny you should ask, my NZXT Phantom 410 arrived yesterday. From what I can tell, it can handle the H100 as well as the Havik.
(the case's quality is really nice!)
Check this review here (http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleid=2665&page=7). Shows the H80, Havik 140, and H100. Personally I wouldn't spend twice as much for 6 degrees C.
Looks like the H100 fits in that case of yours, but I would look into it more. Seems kinda like a pain to get it in there. Still wasn't even that much better than the H80.

Thanks bud!
I have NT-H1 paste on the way that should help close the gap.
