The new screenshots finally have some close ups of the Basilik. Those chain guns are massive! I think there bigger than the ones on the mosquito and reaver. If they are as powerful as they look there gonna tear the crap out of any one not in a tank or max armor. What do u guys think the power on those guns is?

Probably pretty good since they're quads and have little armor, so you could probably tear up unprepared infantry pretty well, or go classic Halo ghost-beats-tank. But I'll be doing that in Thresher/Mag-Rider (even though Mag is a tank)

there is no way a baslilisk could beat a tank. The reason you could beat a tank in halo is because the ghost can hover around it in a circle.. I doubt the basilisk hovers hehe

Basalisks are made to harass light infantry, and, where possible, suicide into maxes. Well, atleast thats what id do.....

The ghost's bullets also stun you so you can't move.
I bet a whole army of basilisks could beat a tank. Hey, a new strategy!

As always, there is a certain skill/proficiency factor. Doesn't matter if it can't hover as long as you can circle the thing faster than it's turret can track you (if you get close enough). It will take a while, but the tank will fall. Mobility isn't everything, but it is a large portion.
