I have no idea why you'd want to spend that much on a motherboard hen you're not using multiple GPUs or have a boatload of harddisks.

He liked the looks and isn't an expert on computers, hence the thread. :p

I'm well aware of the MB is overkill, but i'm counting on upgrading later on, and really can't be bothered reassemble the hole shebang again.
And i get BF3 xD
I'll have more Hardisks and GPU's later on :)
but thx for the feed, will reconsider the botherboard ^^

He is right though, the motherboard isn't compatible with the CPU.
That mobo has a 2011 socket, and the CPU is a 1155 socket.
You have to change one of those, or be ready to rage.

Might I suggest either a BIOSTAR TPower X79 or ASUS Rampage IV Gene mATX. They are both very similar except the BIOSTAR is about $80 (470 Kr) cheaper. I personally have the BIOSTAR TPower X79, and love the number of USB 3.0 ports as well as 100% Sata III ports on the board.

I'd def go for the H100 over the 60 because of the dual rad configuration. You'll be able to clock your CPU much higher. I'm planning on picking one up in about a week.
