Yeah ditto, also have some people that are interested in checking it out, but between the server issues and the cost, they aren't inclined all that much.

I hope they just open Planetside up to everyone in a bit, let everyone play for free one last time before the servers come down for PS2's launch.

I'm sure if we all played PS1 right before PS2 we wouldn't be looking back with our Nostalgia glass's of time and might see that PS2 has really improved in some areas (some maybe not...) would be an interesting start to the game.

I was just thinking... Wouldnt be it be awesome if they released a special client for planetside that had an endgame? The day planetside 2 releases, or beta, all of auraxis implodes, and everyones clients shut down, then immediately opens up ps2. That would be pretty neat.

I still remember on May 19th 2003 walking to game stop - 2 miles from my house with my dog and on the way back looking at the box that looked like Starship Troopers and saying wholly shit I cant wait to play this game.

I kind of hoped to do that pilgrimage again(even though there are closer game stops now) but since the game will be available via DL it seems like its not going to happen. :/
