I would like to start doing videos for Planetside 2 as soon as we can play at least the beta (if we're going to be allowed to upload footage from it). Some introductions, maybe guides, don't really know which way I'm going to progress yet.
The question is, is there anyone else who plans to regularly upload videos with PS content?

Yes, Its called planetsideTV.com.
We'll be doing streaming and information on how not to be a noob in Planetside 2.

I'm planning on doing some of my own PS2 stuff as well.
Planetsidetv or 24/7 is doing a number of projects.

It's likely I'll be streaming and making videos. Finally a game I'd be willing to take the time out to edit videos for.

I will be doing regular stuff with Planetside 2 on my existing YT channel and also livestreaming on my twitch.tv channel.

Great to see so many people do this. Bit of competition is good to have and the more people doing this, the more random the topic I will talk about can be! I like watching those random commentaries with gameplay as the background, so I will propably something like that too. And since I will have so much free time I will do some guides and stuff like that too. I expect to do a lot of it actually, since I would like this to become my "job".
Can you link your YouTube channels? I would like to subscribe to anyone who will be making videos. This one is mine:

Currently just some BF3 stuff without comentary.

I'd love to make videos, but unfortunately any time spent editing could be spent testing (aka a self induced gamer coma)

I probably will. Not sure about live streaming, it depends on if my cable internet at my future apartment can handle it. My DSL at home can't at the moment.

I would like to livestream too, but I don't really have the money to buy XSplit license. Is there any other good livestreaming software?

That works. It's not nearly as user friendly, but if you get DXTORY instead of FRAPs, it allows a live capture setting without recording. Dxtory also allows you to set the resolution you want to record it, unlike FRAPs that makes you change your res or cut it in half. But FMLE is easier to use once you use Dxtory and not their weird capture thingy.
I will be using my Twitch account to live stream Planetside 2 and if permissions and fate permits also beta I also may make a Youtube channel for it for highlight purposes and to capture any fails or badassery that may arise and epic battles (duh)

you guys know that planetsidetv.com will gladly accept any help with their project?
competition is good, synergy is better ;)
and the more people can do streaming or send in recorded stuff, the better the side will become. and i would like it to be successful and well known. after all the domain name is really good, and can easily be found. and all of the best videos together at one place are best to draw in interested players.

That's definitely true, but as I said, I would like this to become my profesion, kinda like TotalBiscuit and countless other for that matter. And obviously, you can't really achieve that as part of other YouTube channel. I want it to be very personal too, so I have to make it all on a separate channel, where I can upload whatever I want whenever I want.
Whom do i need to contact for this and sure sounds like a great idea! rather than competing

I know one guy from the outfit who's going to stream on twitch TV, he's got a crazy amount of viewers for warcraft and actually gets paid for it. (who knew) and will start streaming when the full game comes out. I'm curious to see how it does.

Just to make sure you understand me properly, I don't mean competition as "we are going to fight each other over subscribers". I'm going to promote anyone with good content, I just want to do it on my own terms and my own channel.

I might do that. I've always wanted to but never got around to it. But with the love I've found for this unreleased game since just finding out about it 3-4 days ago being so high, and having a gaming community to form an Outfit of our own to start from I get a feeling I might start some Youtube channel or Series of gameplay. I'm a very serious and dedicated gamer when I find a game that I really like. This game is revolutionary.

As soon as we are allowed to play, and allowed to stream, I will.
