Not sure if this has been adressed before but since weapons dont work in your sanctuary ,what happens if a group of enemys invade your sanctuary , does everyone just hang around calling eachother names untill the other team leaves or do weapons become temporarily rearmed. etc etc :confused:

.....Why would you invade an enemy sanc? Just be irritating to the other empire?

I think that the sanc will have the same type of thing as cont lock. Warpgates that only work for the specfic empire.

In the AGN shoutcast it sounded like there was some way to get into a sanctuary, but it was left really open ended

I believe your sancutuary is locked to opposing empires.. For example a NC could not get in a TR Sanctuary.. This is what I belive it is...

Last I heard u cannot shoot in a sanctuary and the opposing teams cannot use the gate. Haven't heard anything on hacking in Sanctuaries and what not so I won't comment there. I don't think u can get into an opposing teams Sanctuary but if Galaxies can go from Continent to Continent then it could maybe happen.. but why do it is another question.:confused:

How will sanctuaries be protected from other factions? Are there any conditions where an enemy could go into an enemy sanctuary?

At the beginning of the game, there is no way for an enemy to get into your sanctuary. You are completely protected there, weapons don�t even work. And that�s where I�m going to stop explaining because there is some stuff we haven�t revealed. Sorry about that. (laughs)

Well if no one can shoot inside a sanctuary but anyone can enter, then it basically becomes a safe zone.

In other words, you can camp outside their sanctuary, pick off people, and run for the sanc border if you get in trouble. Then you'll never be killed.

That is just one of many uses a crossteam safe area would have...

I remember reading that Verant was 'thinking' about letting other empires enter other sanctuaries, and couldn't think of a reason why not to. It's undecided.
