Hello, i recently started playing again and everytime i open up the map there is a huge problem with the tactical toggle and why its so hugely pixelated?? is anyone else having this issue and is there a fix to this or am i stuck?

Tactical has always been pixelated for me. I just assumed it was how it's supposed to be.

There should be a couple of bars that you can move around that adjust the the overall brightness/density of tactical overlay, that might help.

yea, thats what i did.. it helped its alot better than being blocky but i just thought i remembered it being better as in it had a smooth fade ( shade to it and it not being blocky)

Just bind it to a Key, and toogle it quick on/off

you don't turn it off, what you do is turn off the far button on left and eliminate the sensor fields on the map,then turn off your home empire's button then set the sensitivity slider all the up and then set the opacity at about half way on the slider for that.

if you set it up like above you will have a clutter free map that shows you enemy concentrations without your own empire getting in the way.

Bro don't question the best, you bind it to a key so you can just flick it on/off when you wan't to take a peak.

i agree, this way you can use reveal enemies and compare the overlay with your reveal data.
