Will PS2 Have Good Music?

I know music isn't a huge concern for most games, but I'd just like to point out that all good movies have good music. Therefore, good music can make a big difference for a game as well. Sometimes I watch a movie just for the music. I would play a game just for the music. An example of a game that had great music which really made it feel more epic was all the Halo games. The epicness of Planetside 2 would be greatly increased if it had epic music to go with it. Has or is Planetside 2 going to have a lot of time spent on integrating music which increases a players game play experience by making them feel more excited and powerful?

That's more of an opinion asking question. They got the same dude who did the music in PS1 to do the music for PS2 and I thought the originals music was awesome, so of course I'm likely to think the music in PS2 is awesome.

Planetside had some of the best music IMO.....

Most good games do have good music like Deus ex,halo, shenmue, etc

Will you guys be listening to the music? Realistically at what level will you be setting it compared to comms/game sounds?

For me, personally the music isn't going to be a big hook, regardless of epicness. It would only be a problem if it was terrible...

Music in Empire design videos is quite good. And PS1 music that I heard is also top notch.

The soundtrack of a game is what makes me replay it most of the time, I replay Mass Effect more for the music than the story.

With Don back and Rodney doing the music I have no doubt it will be spectacular especially how it is basically 3 different soundtracks for the factions in one game.

But I don't see much of a problem with the music in the video, it's not amazing imo but it's certainly good :)
