yeah, totally off any sort of Planetside topic i know, was just wandering who the other guitar/keys/vocalists were out there. I know there must be some.
I've been playing 25 years myself, I hear that's considered 'a serious beginner' in the guitar world. lol

~5 years of playing on guitar, self-taught. Acoustic fingerstyle only so far, don't expect to get eletric guitar or any other instrument. Only as a hobby, nothing serious.

I play some guitar/bass/keys (not very good at it) but my main instrument is Saxophone. I'm actually working on a degree for it right now.

I've mealy scratched the surface with music as you may well know if you have heard anything I have made. I did have a guitar once, but that lasted a week. I just don't have the patients or the natural talent for music. I have however made some PC music (very rare) that people have liked, and I'm still not sure to this day how I did it.
I have a big respect to anybody who can play or create good music, it really is a talent to be proud of. just wish I could do it!

I've played for about 6 years on the electic and acoustic guitars... I'm not 'good' per se compared to most guitar players... I play for fun though and like to just play along to my favorite bands. I can sing pretty damn well people have told me, and name any song by Green Day... I can play it 100%.
My most recent project has been learning Free Bird... I'm 3/4ths through the solo, it sounds hard but it's really just five minutes of relatively easy pentatonic licks.
I never got 'seriously' into guitar, I definitely didn't want to drop upwards of $1k on a guitar/amp.. so I bought some Epiphone G-400 and a Marshall MG30FX back then. They're not bad pieces of equipment... my acoustic is some Epiphone too. I could post a pic if you want.

Hey man, as long as you have fun and you try to learn, nothing to worry about. :)

This. I cannot sing worth a crud. I even took Choir to try to get better. I can sing on pitch, but man, it sounds like shit.

20 years of guitar. played in bands for over 10 years. pretty much all original music. rock, metal, goth etc....
if you are bored i dropped some songs off my industrial album on youtube. just search for full metal kasket. pulled a reznor and did everything myself for a change. my first attempt doing industrial music. i'm kinda at the point now where i will probably just pump out studio music on my own. most of the cooler venues to play shows it seems all went under or are no more. anyway feel free to listen to the music and let me know if it sucks lol
