I'm still not convinced by how they are applying the smaller meshed camo effect to the models though, the pattern is to neatly limited to certain areas that it does not look convincing and the overall effect seems out of place.
By contrast the total recolours with 1-2 alternate colours and broad shapes across them look great (e.g the liberator window options).

Most of it will need more work before i'm willing to front soem of my stion cash, which is a chame because I'm looking forward to making MY soldier special.

They must be using some heavy tessellation to achieve that.

the game looks awesome in it´s current state!
and the other gamedevelopers will have a lot of hard work to do, to keep up with this.
finally the name "planetside" will get the fame it deserves!
if we had those pictures AND the aircombat video some months ago, ps2 would already sport several "most anticipated game" awards on their official website ;)

The E3/MAX push/TB stuff was probably why the NDA was so strict'ish around fe. proper screenshots.

I'd expect it to be a lot more lax from here on, as these pics sorta prove.
