Will there be any thermal evaperators to that your tank will be invisible to thermals? I have seen from the millitary channal that they could mask the heat by putting a a lay of miterial on there tank and it would not show heat? What do you people think?

I think the developers said something about thermal night vision, but in turn ways to counter thermal night vision so I can't see why they would not do so with vehicles. The catch should be that by using thermal camo on your tank, you are giving up something else (like auto repair or heavy armor) that would be better in a straight up fight.

That, or your tank is invisible to thermals when turned off. I can imagine the fun people can have when a convoy is coming down a path and all of a sudden 20 tanks hidden in the forest start their engines. ;)

The Sunderer has a smokescreen ability that we saw in one of the TB video. Would be interesting if the designer allows smoke to remove thermal signatures. Like a cold smoke would be cool to release in a puff. The smokescreen the Sunderer releases is huge.

Very cool ideas here. I think a customization for your tank for the specific purpose of hiding and ambushing could be used to great effect.

I think they misunderstand or the original poster wasn't clear, i think the only thing we need to hide thermal, as people suggested. Is smoke launchers, and maybe something that increases lock on time, like BF3.
