Empires (http://store.steampowered.com/app/17740/) is a pretty decent free source mod that bears a lot of similarities to PS; you have the same sort of class-based infantry gameplay, and a decent selection of vehicles which can be outfitted with a variety of different weapons and systems.
There are two teams, each of which has a Commander for the battle, who is largely playing an RTS; they place the buildings that the team builds, resource points need to be secured and held in order to generate cash for the team to buy vehicles and research stuff.
It's a pretty fun game, and assuming the beta isn't running by then, would be pretty fun to play with a group of PS'ers who know how to play such a game.
So anyone up for a game?
