Requests?

I probably should not do this, but I am going to take some requests for our next batch of screenshots.

Be reminded, there is absolutly no way we can honor all requests. But I will give it my best shot.

So, what do you want to see from planetside?

Well, I'ld like to see the different weapons firing so their cone of fire is noticeable and whether or not crouching makes a difference. Specifically the mini-Chaingun and Cycler. Also, a screenshot that shows the affect of different types of ammo on different things like AP on infantry and AI on tanks and vice versa

Something probably only noticable in movies really:

Physics on jumping vehicles. Midair combat (see how stuff flys and whatnot ). Sniper HUD.

Just a few off the top my head. :\

A squad of vanu being butchered.

3rd, what the darklight implant looks like activated.

4th, more shots of the commanders extra polygons.

I'd love to see some TR shots in the next ones, esp one whit an AA MAX firering. Would also love some tank battels.

There are also some things I cant take screens of. Also, some things that are impossible to see in a screen o_O

-Engineer planting/building turret
-turret firing, doesnt matter if its at you or an enemy.
-Weather, if its even on yet.
-Eng repairing armor, we've seen a medic.
-Maybe a picture of a mine, or a boomer?

That, and as always, nice juicy battles. Everyone wants some nice juicy battles. :D Dont think anything in there would be to hard to get, or violate the NDA anymore then other screenshots.

3) Hacked vehicles. Like a maurader with NC colors, or a MAG- rider with TR colors, stuff like that.

I have a request in my box for a sig with a NC Reaver in it. Of course, the only Reaver pics we've seen are all Vanu. Can you hook me up there too?

I'd dig it if you could get a shot of the vehicle permission/ejection screen to even out the disagreement once and for all.

A picture of the Medical Applicator would be great too, I refuse to accept the fact it looks like a barcode scanner like in the www.planetside.com picture :-p

That is so wierd. I got here by using the ip address and nothing would work for me (I couldn't post) and then all of a sudden the DNS numbers must have updated and I can get to planetside-universe the usual way. Yah!

Anyway, I would like to see maps of all the continents. Right now we have only seen maps of Cyssor, Oshur, and Forseral up close.

Also, would like to see TR MAX AV and AA weapons up close. Also see them firing and what the target area looks like including when they are in anchor mode.

what the inside of a locker inventory looks like and how much stuff you can put into it.

what the magazine for a striker looks like and how much space it takes up.

a shot of an inventory containing a bank, rek, ace, and medical applicator all next to each other.

Prowler firing on a turret.

trooper equiping a TR MAX and an NC MAX so we can see the differences in armor and inventory.

shots of spitfire turret in action, boomer deployed, mine deployed, and motion sensor deployed.

May be a wierd request, but could you take some really good landscape pics without the HUD? like I know in DAoC you can hit tab to toggle the HUD on and off.

That would be kool though, like a landscape shot of a big area without the numbers and stuff. (even though i love looking at those too:))

I wanna see the WRAITH!!! Thats about all i really wanna see besides the general kick ass battle shots. I would also like to see the sniper rifle scope and a pic of what a normal gun looks like with the zoom implant. I would also like to see a gauss being fired. so to summ it all up

id rather have movies. and if you could get movies i wouldnt care what they were of. grab a camcorder and video tape the screen, thats what id do, but then again i have a digital camera, and you guyz might not. movies pics info whatever i love it all.
