i was wondering if a brand new subscriber to planetside 1 would get priority beta access.

No restrictions there. if you are/were a PlanetSide player you get a beta invite, be sure your station acct email is accurate

I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. RadarX's post says former Planetside players. Something tells me subbing now just to get into beta won't net you any luck.
