10 or so years agao I remember reading alot of fanfiction in the hype before the release of PS1 and Im keen to see the same again this time around.

I am not sure where people are putting their Planetside related works in this forum, but it seems to me like this forum could really use a separate Planetside 2 FanFiction section. Somewhere people can post their stories, poems, fan art etc, where they would be easy for everyone looking for them to find.

I whipped up a poem for the Terran Republic here...

and it got relegated to page 2 of this discussion forum real quick. I was gonna shamelessly bump it, but I thought I'd adress the bigger issue by creating this post instead :D

There was a subforum for this but after the shuffle I don't don't where its gone.

I wouldn't be against it. PS1 official forums had a forum called "war journal" for fan fiction and battle recounts. They may do something like that again on forumside 2.0

Oooh man, I wrote a whole bunch of fan fiction for ps1 back in the day. Definitely needs to be brought back.

I'd support this. Would love to see war journals, propaganda pieces or even full on short stories. There certainly seems to be enough passion in this community to support something like that :)

It still exists, we just have it hidden since it wasn't getting much use. If you guys want it back I will dust off the dust ;)

Yeah that would be great Hamma I would definately read it and post to it. I think now is the time too, with beta right round the corner. I read almost every fanfiction when PS1 was coming out.
