As asked by Vetto, and seconded by myself in the "As usual, a huge thank you to everyone here!" thread I'm really curious as to who was the unofficial winner of Planetside 2 E3.

Now, to not waste forum space on shallow threads, I ask you this question while we wait for a possible reply from one of the dev team that knows the answer.

Who do you think won and what was the current situation? Was the winning empire assaulting or defending?
Any extra feedback to back up your statement?

I seem to remember seeing alot of TR logo's on the base during the streams.
Though I must admit the VS seemed to be pretty strong in the air department, I was very pleased with the TR max action, so I think TR won and they were defending with a decent amount of Max units.

But seriously, why does it matter who won at E3?

Just a fun fact seeing that was an event that actually ended, nothing wrong with a healthy curiosity, don't read too much into it.

I saw the VS owning. There was some VS Rambo on (SOE employee) wearing LA who was just raping. Even a max wasnt safe. I think TB said he was on a 7 or 8 kill streak.

There was also that Q&A pilot who was probably around. I gotta sya, VS had a lot of elite players during E3.

Not to totally derail the conversation, but I'm quite curious to see who wins PS1 before the servers get retired. But that's a conversation that probably won't happen until the end of the year.

Judging by how much time each faction spent owning the amp station:

1st: NC

2nd: TR

3rd: VS

But it was pretty evenly matched the whole stream with each faction having their long streaks of owning the base. From what I saw, NC kicked butt inside the base with infantry, TR bested everyone at armour warfare, and VS was the superior air force.
