Soooo this all started this morning with TRay tweeting about his VS Jersey that ProSiebenSat11 sent him, so I decided to get to the bottom of this #Newsguygettingnews

Not having actual physical things to buy would be a HORRIBLE idea for them. This game has SOOOO much faction loyalty and fanatical fans (myself included).

I would totally buy a key-chain, shirt, hat, dog tag, mug, MOUSEPAD. Seriously Devs, make swag and I will pay you for it.

lol they should do a reverse cash shop where they let you buy real world items for ingame resources.

When I went to Orlando with Hamma and Jenny and a bunch of other PS1 fans like 7 years ago, the devs handed out some faction window clings and the like.

I still have them and treasure them... I would definitely be in for a jersey, keychain, hoody or the like. Gotta represent!

Great to see the excitement here for the Jerseys - this is something I'm currently taking care of. The guy who's putting these together - a good friend of mine, is exceptionally gifted.

Stay tuned for more info (sorry, i know you're sick of hearing that). All I can say is, well, it wouldn't be fair to have only a Vanu Jersey surely? :)

It would be cost effective though. It won't take long for us Vanu to wipe out the barbarian factions and then we're all that's left. Waste of product.

VS jersey is pretty damn cool, and it really fits the spandex look of the VS armors :D

I'm curious to see the NC one, and even though I don't usually wear anything blue or yellow (and even less blue and yellow), I might make an exception for one of these cool pieces of awesomness :]

Can't say anything about the dogtags I'm afraid, just the jerseys as they have originated on our side. The dogtags are also incredibly awesome, it has to be said.

No, no, we Vanu would benificently allow the other empires to be on the shirts, but they would have the Vanu symbol over-printed on them to show the true state of affairs on Auraxis.

This is the first game ive ever considered buying merch for and it frightens me how much stuff id be willing to part cash for to buy.. defintiely dog tags, i dont think people hav ementioned cuff links yet.. the faction symbols are made for that surely! Don't worry it goes both ways I can never find smalls that don't look baggy on me unless I leave the country. Nobody sells to skinny guys these days :rolleyes: Maybe I should stop working out and start going to 7-11 for my dinner.

Dont make them like armour.

They will sell better if you make them just classy Jerseys pretending like your faction is a fictional sports team. With the unique colours.

TBH, the NC one looks bad. The whole jersey does not look united cuz of the conflicting colors. Obviously those colors gotta be used, but I'm sure theirs a way to clean it up.
The vanu one is a perfect blend. The lighter purple is subtle over the deeper purple (obviously xP), and the teal is the ideal fluff. Heck, even the ESL logo looks great with the rest of the jersey design.

Keep up the work on that NC one. The NC already look stupid enough in-game. You guys don't have to be THAT authentic.

VERY interesting logos you have on those fancy jerseys...

I've been wondering about this facet of PS2. Depending on the movement and game types, I think PS2 has a lot of potential, as long as it's kept simple enough for a layman to view and enjoy.

If you are going to do this, I hope you can do it right and refresh the competitive FPS scene.
