Is it just me or did some of that smack of bullshit?
Auraxis is broken into 10 continents (all are contained on each of the 19 servers). You may create a player on any island, for any faction (up to four characters of only one faction can be made per continent) and play. Continents are astonishingly huge and come complete with multiple centralized and strategically placed bases, which themselves are enormous.
Mmm methinks hes got continents mixed with servers!

Each of the ten continents of the world is littered with buildings. He who controls all of the buildings also controls the two jumpgates that lead to other continents.
Mmm, what about continents with 3 jumpgates :D
All in all, a decent preview in laymans terms, just a little inaccurate in parts.

For instance, I can equip myself with Infiltrator armor after being certified and can then learn how to hack. Thus, I can do things like sneak into opposing bases, open locked doors, and manipulate an enemy's base in ways he just won't like. Throw in a little sniper rifle action and I can be the ultimate weapon. Don't think this guy was paying to much attention

I stopped reading IGN Previews and Reviews a long time ago. You could almost swear they just make up a good deal of their articles. I only go there for the pics and movies now (the five a day before you pay pics and movies that is).

Not the most accurate preview, but it certainly was possitive.

Not only is it poorly written, it has at least half-a-dozen errors that even I spotted. I went so far as to post on their boards about it and email them. The reviewer goes so far as to compare it to Renegade and says he doesn't see the point of it.
That's what u want, an unenthusiastic reviewer

Whoever wrote that did NOT test everything he/she wrote about.
What really jumped at me was the "Sniper Rifle and Infil Suit". I mean, come on, the Infil Suit doesn't even have a rifle slot. Yeesh. Moron.

yeah it wasn't that great. The comparison to Renegade scared me. It was interesting reading about one person's specific pov. He kept relating to past FPS motivation like winning the round, and didn't seem to figure out that you play games for fun, as well as glory.

Bolt Driver and infil suit, along with a machine gun. Uh huh...thats reinforced buddy. Two men holding a hallway by themselves against wave after wave of vanu? Had a 3 minute strafing fight with a MAX and won, becuase he had more bullets.....
Here is their real preview. "Im a fucktard, they told me to play to many games at one time, so i only spent 20 minutes on this artical. The game had lots of armor and guns, but i dont have time to try them all so ill make up a bullshit combo becuase no one can tell, right? Then ill make my pathetic ass look good by saying i held a corridor all by myself, but then only take pictures of me in the open not in combat. Now these continents are obviously to big, there cant be more then one per server, so i guess we get four characters per continent. Hey, this is taking to long, whens the round gonna end and the map change? Whats my motivation>?? Screw it, they are paying me so ill just say i was impressed."
I swear they should let more of us in instead of the reporters. We give better reviews anyway, but they wont let us do it.

Invisibility implants? I don't think so..

Actually the darklight vision implant makes you partially invisible as well as letting you see cloakers.
Greatly reduces your normal visibility while simultaneously shifting your perceptions to allow you to see cloaked enemies in an area around you.

Uh, you -do- know that what that means is that it makes you only able to see about 15 feet, no matter what, but you can see anyone who's cloaked in that range, right? And in case you were wondering, it does turn on and off at will.
No, it does not make you invisible.

Fire_Monkey: l33t whore (not n00b)
It's called a simple mistake. He misread it, that is all.
