Beta Cease-Fires and Photo Ops

When Beta starts we need to get together each week and take screen shots of as many players standing together as possible.

All players from all factions posing for a group shot each week in the same place. Coming together for a momment of unity.

That way, after few months we can run a time-lapse of the beta population growing. The goal: a final image with a full continents population standing together for the camera.

Which side? Planetside!

Devs: A great first image would be the crew from the closed beta.

I feel like one picture would be enough. That's how they should START open beta. Everyone is gunlocked and teleported into one open area, screenshot then OK GO everyone gains ability to shoot again right there.

Actually.. It was for a kid who died player of PS1, All be it, would have been smarter to do it in the SANC, but the fact is the Enclave also massively killed there own men which is another point of why I'd never take the time to help one.

Enclave already did that once in PS1. Only it was a funeral. It became a mass funeral.

I dont know about a group photo...

But i think a great way to advertise the game would be to have 1 event(which SOE should help to organize)where 1000+ people gather in same general area and fight over a base.
Than have the hole thing filmed from several different view points and post it on youtube.

Hell maybe if people like the idea,SOE might make a video with some back story(like a minimovie).
Show some rolle playing footage leading to the big battle and than show the big battle itself.
It might really hype people :D

You do realise that not only has nothing I have said in this thread been anything to do with role play but that my suggestion is about as FPS centric as you could possibly get? (I suggested a mass bombing of thousands of players to achive the largest continuous killstreak in any FPS ever to promote the scale and FPS nature of the game...)

Also, what the hell is wrong with taking some vids or screenshots to celibrate and advertise the momentous occasion that is PS2 beta ?
