Like most of you I am chomping at the bit to get my hands on beta. However I have decided to start a PS themed project to pass the time for now.
I still haven’t decided on what yet and I'm open to suggestions.
I do work in a sheet metal shop so I have that as a resource.
Anyone else working on something similar?
(It's probably going to be VS themed but if a TR or a NC comes up with something extra interesting I may concider it as well :groovy:)

I do work with metal as well and thought about designing a full scale PS1 jackhammer, maybe make an airsoft gun out of it or something.

Looking at the Vanu Infiltrator on your sig and thinking metal, perhaps you could make that helmet of his?

I know they've already been done (but they are not for sale as far as I know) but you could try and make some empire themed dog tags.
You could also make an empire logo hood ornament.
Or a logo themed refrigerator magnet!

You could make a replica VS Forceblade. Just something to hang on the wall are keep on the desk while you play...

I think you should make a life size, fully fuctional replica of a Liberator, then take us all for rides in it.Just an idea. You can land it a SOE in San diego, that would get some press coverage for this game.

I would recommend getting all your non-gaming affairs in order so you can maximize your beta time. Any projects coming up at work/school/hobby? Get 'em done now so they don't interfere with PS2 later!
A FPS like BF3 would also be a good game investment to shake off any FPS rust you might have or just to keep the skills sharp.

 My affairs have been in order since the GDC video release (I notified my family not to report me dead/missing when they dont hear from me for months on end.)
To anyone who is wondering I didnt get to work on anything today (Yay for fixing bird strike damage on C-17's) but I do have the dogtags laid out on paper. The blade on the other hand is gonna be CAD cut im thinking when I get the time.
