Will everything on the NC look old?

Hey guys. I've been looking at the new footage and screenshots of all factions, and I've noticed that the NC stuff looks very old and used. i know that's the point since they are kinda the 'rebels' or what not, but when I played planetside 1, I remember the higher ranking NC gear to look very badass. Will they still be like this, or will everything on the NC look like it was made out of scrap metal?

Nah, a lot of it looks old and used. But if you take a look at for example the NC Heavy Assault and MAX unit... it looks very different, clunky maybe, but still very different.

well unless you program the nanites building thing to make it out of scrap metal then yes but that would defeat the purpose, no the NC gear won't look like it came from the garbage pile (well some might) it will look like experimental designs and other equipment that's been repurposed and turned into weapons, like the MAX for instance it's a heavy lifting exosuit turned into a combat design

With exception of the Liberator (not faction specific, I know). That thing looks like it shouldn't even be capable of flight.

I feel the same. The battleworn and repurposed look is what makes it look badass. :D

Yeah dude the NC stuff is going to look like its Mk1 designs and stuff like that. If you want streamlined and efficient looking technology then TR is the way to go. :cool:

NC = Junkyard terrorist macaws
TR = Communists with water goggle eyes
VS = Purple alien cyborg lobsters

I'm actually pretty disappointed with the way the NC looks. Everything was looking great until the designers thought that they could look even more scrappier. I mean in most cases the evolution of the design from PS1 to PS2 for the TR and VS factions looks fantastic but I think the NC have it the worst.

The concept for the NC is much more preferable for me from the in game result, and that's probably too late to change anyway since they're going full speed ahead with the beta. So, I guess I will be looking for better armors in the marketplace once the game launches...

To me NC stuff being scrappier makes it even more badass... we don't spend our weekend polishing our tanks: we kick ass, get drunk afterwards and just park on the lawn after running over the neighbor's mailbox. :D

Old technology of an advanced civilization is still more advanced than your current tech. Shouldn't be that hard to grasp, but whatever, keep using your pointed sticks and throwing your metal around, it just makes it easier for us to kill you =]
