This may sound like a stupid question but, which 1 of these cdroms are better 48x or 16x

If those are both the read speed than the 48x is better. Make sure the 16x isn't the writing speed of a CD burner though. I don't think they even sell 16x read speed drives any more...

Could be a DvD, a 16x DvD is roughly a 48X CD rom
