Band, I would say led Zeppelin is my favorite.

However my favorite musician and/or composer has nothing to do with Led Zeppelin.

Dispatch and Third Day are rock bands. Nothing nearly as hard as some of the other bands mentioned here (like powerman 5000... are they still around or are you listening to old stuff Unreg??).

I listen to a ton of alternative rock and metal with some techno and stuff mixed in (When I work on things I like listening to techno, mostly because there aren't are no, or not many, vocals). Recently I've been listening to: Our Lady Peace, Saliva, Taproot, Cold, Breaking Benjamin, and as always Foo Fighters and Filter. :)

I susgest power of omens (new CD from Metal Ages Records) it is a techno metal that sounds like Queensryche. I can hook you up with a copy :)

As far as my favorite bands: Mostly metal.... Iced Earth, Power of Omens, Sonata Arctica, Demon Hunter, Saliva, Evanessence, 3 doors down, Stratovarious, Creed, and some more i can't think of......

i don't dig metal that much at all.

creed is self righteous god-rock, so i don't touch the stuff

cept for 80s metal, AC/DC rocked!

mostly it's classic and punk for me though

Lately i've listened to alot of Atreyu, System of a down, listened to the old slipknot a bit, Talib Kweli, sublime, and some Dry Kill Logic. If you havent heard of Atreyu check them out, they are gonna be big one day I bet.

scott stepp does sing god rock

i saw something about creed a year or two back about them

anyway, all that creed and stuff they play on the radio is usually sell out stuff, where the bands have given into the masses to get their songs on the radio and make money

AHAHAH!! Linkin Park?!?! Those are a bunch of commercial guys. THey can't even come out with a new album with new songs, they jsut mix their old one, and what do they do, stick it in a paper cd case...cheap band....

And from what i read(not all of it, too lazy), nobody mentioned INCUBUS, like the best band in the world. I haven't seen a band so talented in so many different kinds of music lately, besides incubus.
