Prometheus was a really weird movie and didn't make much sense.

It was weird, but it made enough sense to me. I recognize that there were a few things left intentionally-ambiguous to set up the sequel to this prequel.

I see what ya mean about the tech plant. Fortunately PS2 bases aren't leaving Auraxis, so they would have only needed to be set up for 1-way deployment.
