OH... I thought they were considering NPCs. What about in a VR setting. MASS combat testing. Plus I thought the fact they are from aliens from outerspace would make a cool crossover for storyline! They could be the real aliens that made the killer tomatoes! ;p

They could use it for rare events even. Say that Italian holiday where they throw tomatoes all over the place in the streets. To celeberate it Killer Tomatoes could attack Araxis!

If they do an AI faction, it should literally be an AI faction as to not take anything away from the human vs human dynamic. Think Cylons, Geth, Borg, Terminators, etc.
