I’ll join a BF3 server & leave after my first death. I downloaded the latest Assassins Creed through Steam, and 30 seconds into the intro I CTRL F4’d back to PSU and haven’t loaded it since. :tear:

Exactly. I'll play games... LoL, DotA2, CS, PS1, EVE, etc... but only for a few minutes before rewatching E3 footage.

And then we find out it's going to be a scheduled closed beta. GG ruin your game before it starts (another topic for another day)

If I let myself go, I can play Skyrim to about 4 in the morning before passing out at my desk, so that's fun, and TF2 is a barrel of laughs with RL friends. I'll admit, I'm antsy, too, but I've found ways to cope.

Or in the case of last night, re-subbing to PS1. I will see my fellow VS on tomorrow night in PS1! I'm not sure if it will cure the itch I have for PS2 though.

Other games have lost a little bit of their appeal for me. I've dropped off a bit on my LoL play time, which I did fairly heavily, and I have lost interest mid-game with finally finishing Dead Rising 2.

I've given thought to installing Battlefield 2142, but I know it just won't be the same. Maybe it will placate me anyway.

I tried BF2142 a few days ago again but the only 'active' server is that DethKlok 24/7 Gibraltar spam-fest. Absolutely no good servers anymore, and not many people play either.


I guess I'm occupying myself with DA:O for now, 5 hours in, but we'll see how long it lasts.

I've been trying to game some over the past couple of weeks, but I agree, it's hard work. Tried playing a bit of PS1, but it just doesn't scratch the itch knowing PS2 is approaching. I still try and play as much FPS as I can though, mostly to make sure I don't get rusty. I've been playing a bit of Blacklight Retribution, which is good for twitch practice, but beyond that? Meh.

I've upgraded and rebuilt 2 of my PC's so far in anticapation of PS2, I'm just about to start on my third one, glad it's going to be F2P as I'm burning all my cash on new shiney tech lol
