NC and rap not my favorite combos either but nonetheless I was impressed
Any Slipknot inspired TR composers out there ;)

i hate rap, but the use of the ps music in this one isn´t really bad ;)
if that guy does a studio version of this and uses some more appropriate instruments for the solos, it could actually be one of the better raps ;)
but the flute and synth sound pretty cheesy

Easily worth a beta key.
Definately not a fan of Rap, but the artist I can appreciate, and actually drew me in to the end. The tune, and instruments were my favorite.

yep, the solos were good, just the choice of instruments didn´t fit in my opinion.
the first solo deserves at least a saxophone and the second a real piano or mayve an electric guitar.

That'd be awesome to have an actual sax voice. I really haven't heard any sax voices that sound that good though. =\ I like the synth though for what it is, and he has the skill, you can hear it when he's soloing.
I often forget that musical talent is an important thing for beta testing.

Perhaps you could demonstrate for us, by playing the solos yourself with your own instruments?
And,
I often forget that musical talent is an important thing for beta testing.
What's important for beta is lots of people. Without propaganda such as this, there are sure to be less people knowing about the game in time for beta.

lol exactly
While it's cute it's on the "soft" side a TR rap would be much harder, edgy and less "Suburbs" like
Non the less give him a beta key for sure But somebody get his in game name so I can shoot him in the face he's NAVY anyways.

Hey, you can't blame him for making soft, suburban rap..he had to consider his target audience.
Also rap is always better when your into the material thats being rapped about. When its about bitches'n hoes and money, and thug life...well my ears glaze over

You gotta understand doesn't matter if it's rap or rock. It's what we do at TR, Combat & SMG: Sex, Money & Guns.
Also I did say give him a key for it

Owkay! TRay vs Ohm! See Dem battle!
My take's on the designer! T-Ray, waste that Navy!
Now after this I imagine Modern Death Metal vs Alternative Metal vs Old School Progressive Metal being VS vs NC vs TR accordingly:
Pretty Much like this:
VS:
Solution .45 - Spirit Side Dreaming - YouTube
NC:
World Premiere: Five Finger Death Punch - "Generation Dead" - YouTube
TR:
Iron Maiden - Blood Brothers - YouTube

Hey everybody. It's MC Ohm-I. Almost felt weird making this account because I haven't been on an forum for a game from SOE since DCUO came out. And before then...MxO. Anyway, I'm glad you all like it.
Also, I noticed the sax comment earlier. I actually do have some great quality sax sounds but I've been having problems running Kontakt through Fruity Loops to record them. Not sure why but my Maschine VST plugin works and my Kontakt plugin doesn't. I'll try to fix that up before it's too late.
Also, I'll be posting the jazz version of the song either Thursday or Friday.

I love that you did this so much that I'm going to make one for the VS. Not for beta key or anything, but just to represent the VS and try writing some techno music for a change. I'll try to have it recorded and posted in a couple days. Keep up the good work man :)

I loved it! And I sure as hell prefer rap to the rock guitar bollocks that seems to be the NC's official music style of choice. I'm certainly turning music off as soon as I get into this game.

w00t! Well done man! :) I liked it a lot. And that comes from a guy who normally hates rap.
Keep 'em coming man. If I'd have any worthwhile recording equipment I would totally jam the shit out of my guitar for ya. All these years jamming the Garcia and the Grateful dead has done me good! :)
