ahh i dunno about that. a giant hunk of metal just doesnt disappear. i think i can understand what youre saying though - for latency/lag issues. maybe it depends on how high it is? not truly sure.

Debries do not injur you, they went into this in the dev chat. The concussive blast from the vehicle can hurt you if you are close enough, but the fragments are deconstructed quickly by nanites and do no damage.

In bf1942 that is one of the coolest things in that game. seeing a plane swoop down and blow up mid air only to smash some poor guy on the ground.
