PSU white screen (flash) between page transition

So since I've been on this forum I've noticed that there's this white screen (flash) lasting for just a second in between loading pages. It might just be a problem I'm having (using chrome btw) but I don't have this problem on any other sites. Its not such a issue during the day but I night it can be quite painful even at my screens lowest brightness, each time I go to a new page it flashes and my eyes have to readjust to PSU's dark background which is really straining, I find myself almost always closing my eyes until the next page loads and the flash passes lol. Not sure if its just me, or the site. Is anyone else having this problem?

Nothing we can do about it :/ it is a long standing issue with Chrome, here is a bug report I started four years ago that's still going http://crbug.com/1373

But... but... I dont want to leave chrome :lol:. Will have to look through that later, too tired now. But a quick look and it doesn't seem like anyone has found a solution. At least I know the cause now. :/
