Win7 64-bit, 570gt, quad core amd cpu, 16gb ddr3.
About 50% of the time when loading continents Planetside will stop working, and I will have to reload the game, any idea what would be causing this? Thanks!

Happens to everyone I think. I find it's directly related to how long you've been playing too. Like some sort of memory leak issue or something.
In fact, if you watched the TwitchTV stream last night, there's was a point that the whole feed went black because the streamer's game crashed. ;) Same thing....

Change your preloaded texture setting.
Either off or all.

Happens to me all the time and it's really fucking annoying. I can't zone more than three times without crashing.

So you don't have this issue? I've always had mine at 'All' and crash if I play at least an hour and try to move to another cont or the sanc. I just turned it to 'None' to see if it happens still.
im not sure what my settings are but i played for about 6 hours today and about 6 hours yesterday without any issues
maybe this is an nvidia thing? i remember reading about someone else having issues also with an nvidia card

One or the other will work for you mate. I changed mine from all to none. And I prob crash once a night or not at all.

Seems the NONE setting is working for me... Been on for a while now and tested moving to different conts and sanc and still no crash. Game actually seems more stable too. Thanks!
