is it just me or are they just...really lacking. the only ones are: infil, standard(no one will use that), agile, reinforced, and max armor (not really - max armor seems like a full time job not just something to keep u protected.). so technically, there are four (im being flexible when i say 4) types of armors to use.

anyway. these seem very lacking when it comes to variety. i could come up with some ideas for new armors but before that, anyone comment on this?

Hmm, this seems like enough to me. Each style of soldier will have a type of armor that suits them.

Agile will be for pilots/ Large ground transport drivers.

Re-Enforced will be used by any ground soldier not planning on driving in closed vehicles.

Infl suit for stealthers

MAX for heavy specialized infantry

Also this is an MMOFPS not an MMORPG. They are less focused on variety and more with the squad combat aspect dealing with gameplay. If each class has an armor type that fits their job then I see no need to continue developing more armors

Jetpack is already "technically" in game with the Vanu MAX

i suppose, perhaps maybe they should have different cosmetics to choose from when it comes to armors =\. it just seems like there should be more types.

If you're supposed to be a part of a military force you don't exactly get a choice in what you're gonna wear. It's called uniformity. That's what makes riot police so scary. Otherwise we'd have a few guys in kilts and knee highs running around Kuwait. Granted, not many, and mostly on Navy ships...but we'd have a few.

Dislcaimer: Not supposed to be a bash at any current or former military personel. I'm jus' kidding around. I have the utmost respect for you guys. Thanks for your service.

Plus the MAX abilities..or is that what you were talking about.

this game is not about the armors. it is about the vehicles/specialization with certs. 30 people with just standard armor could each do a unique role in combat. Not about the armor.

Man, the standard armor sucks. Who is ever going to wear it? If the aglie armor has more inventory room, armor points, and can pilot vehicles. why the heck do we have standard armor? what pros does it have against wearing anything else? or does it just suck?

The female models look almost as good in standard as they do in infil, but they can carry guns?

Chicks with guns, the aphrodesiac of the angry white male.

they start you with the cheap crap armor so you have to EARN upgrades for better armor...everyone who is the least bit intelligent will use a cert on some sort of armor
