Well you see this is only the first steps. Once beta starts not everyone is going to be getting in at once as they already stated. We will have people complaining about not being in the beta and why the deserve it more then others.

When waiting for D2 beta, some dude made a flash game where you click parts of the screen to simulate gameplay with still images composed from other screenshots. You could do that too!

I have been jokingly wanting to make a flat singleplayer version of PlanetSide. Basically you are looking at the game from a top-down 2D view, just 1 unit and "squad mates" who just kinda follow you in formation and fire with you (as well as hacking things when you need them to, etc) where enemies randomly spawn on the edge of the screen and come to attack you every 30 seconds, and other enemies exist that you'll find while traveling to the target destination. You seem bored, maybe you wanna make this game instead of waiting?

1. Buy Arma 2 CO
2. Install Dayzmod
3. ?????
4. Profit

(arma and dayz can be replaced with any game in accordance with your personal preferences)

I downloaded Blacklight Retribution the other night after watching TB's video on it. It's enough to keep me occupied for a week or two, hopefully until we get into beta.

It's a free to play, FPS match-based shooter. Check it out. It's kind of like Counter-Strike meets Unreal Tournament.

PS: I tried DayZ for a couple of days... spent hours, never found a single weapon. Got killed by zombies untold times. The only time I encountered another player he shot me before I could even tell he was there (must have been defending his hideout I guess). That's when I ragequit :P
