I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who showed up this weekend to create such a fantastically, nostalgic weekend. It was great to see so many old faces and so much activity. Planetside has been such an amazing experience all of these years and we have seen so many members of the community grow up together. Regardless of what anyone may say about the events, it was fun!

Thank you SOE. Thank you to everyone who help create Planetside, was involved in Planetside throughout the years and to those who are bringing Planetside into the future.

Much <3.

Loved those fights last night at Cyssor, TR defence at Bomazi was amazing and the push and capture of Nzame pure epic. (Bridge attack between Bomazi and Nzame brought back memories)

4 Pop locks and laughter in the chat channels, been a while...

It was fun! Sad that some people couldn't respect the cease fire but that's to be expected I guess, and I still saw most of the parade.

Also funny how many CR5 wanted everyone to ignore Evilpig. :P

It felt like that were only about 4 CR5 guys, but they were indeed spamming a lot.

But yeah - while TR and VS got things organized and had some nice vehicle columns up, we NC had some loudmouthed naysayers and even some jerks teamkilling the crowd gathering in Sanc.

Luckily, it appears like the NC has learned to manage without CR5s. ;)
The entire weekend, NC really got their stuff done. Gals really filled up quick. And AMSes, Lodestars, AA all were in place without much pointing. It simply feels great to roll your almost wrecked Vanguard to the nearest tower, and then find two Lodestars there and have three people jumping at you with glue guns to get you back in the fight.

That really makes up for some pompous CR5s raging and whining that "their" zerg is abandoning them for a once-in-a-lifetime event.

Agreed. And Hamma, that was a fun fight over Xelas and Mekala. Always a good change to fight some organized opponents. Think you guys brought enough AMSes? lol

Loved playing this weekend, sure brought back lots of memories from back in the day.
The bridge fights were epic once again and the scale of the combat was just awesome.

So thank you everyone for joining in and showing that PS1 still kicks ass after all these years!

Hamma going all dark side wasn't as big a speed bump as I thought it would be... unless you consider the bitching in command.

My thing was like a 20 minute distraction at most. I died alot quicker than I had expected I would..

I'm just glad we got it done on Saturday rather than Sunday. :D

They should have made you a real raid boss and spawned you in an original Colossus (not the GV or FV) with emp immunity and 10x armor/shield.

Hamma is an absolute credit to the community but I thought it was a shame none of the TR command were asked to talk.

I'm talking about the guys that led the tr thru the battle, understood what had to be done to win the event and sent the comam's that were needed. The 2 big TR outfits co-ordinated brilliantly with bmc in the north and brtd in the south doing enough to make sure we still held the capital after the 2 hours. BMC's hack flip on sungrey was probably the move of the event.

Ah.. the Parade event wasnt people from the current days events it was folks in the community from over the years.
