So, will this game have the dreaded feature of "Aim Assist" and if so, will I be able to toggle it on/off, it's the one feature in FPS games that I just cannot stand and always turn off if possible.
Do you guys think they should have aim assist?
No there won't be aim assist.
No.
If it goes in, it's some sort of major fail from the devs.
The only reason for aim assist is to cater for consoles as aiming accurately with game controllers is harder.
Also, I seem to recall there being a thread about this already... Could be wrong though.

This has already been discussed in the quick scoping thread.

Good lord, we are running out of things to talk about aren't we?
Better get a Beta date soon before we start looking at force-feedback/rumble support.

Sorry, but is this thread for real? Are you retarded?
You must be a console player. Thanks. Time for you to go.

Why on earth would there ever be aim assist in a PC exclusive FPS?
We use mice for a reason.
Also it's impossible to just add an option for it, either it's in or it's not.

Aim assist does not belong in PC games...in ANY form. They only have it in console games because control pads are to retarded to aim accurately.

No. The only thing that should or will be making you hit targets is your ability to point the gun at the damn target.

This shouldnt be in the game, theres no need. Im sure the devs wont put it in.
But all you lot banging on about console gamers having shit aim and so they need aim assist are just wrong. I play shooters on PS 3, i turn aim assist off as its wank when you aim at someone and the cross hair moves for you. Having bad aim is nothing to do with being on a PC or console.

Ok, I'm glad the Aim Assist issue is clear and settled...
Now what about mouse support for in-game menus?

What about SNES controller support? It is afterall the best controller ever made.

This isn't a kiddo console game.
This is the PC Master Race ... K+M of course without any sort of aim assist ...

Aim Assist is not needed on a PC game. Aim Assist was developed for Console shooters because the control sticks cant aim as finely as a mouse. I cant think of a PC shooter that actually uses Aim Assist.

To point out, while I play console games I hate aim assist with a raging passion, and I'm pretty sure the PC version of console ports have the "feature" of aim assist, not that I've played any.
Seriously, I'm glad that the poll is a resounding "no" because Aim Assist is a terrible, terrible "feature"
