Just curious to see what kind of machines are out there that people have! This game looks super graphics intensive, so just seeing what people are anticipating on running it with.
I saw the footage with the gtx 670 at e3, and it ran great.

AMD Athlon ii x4 630, GTX 460. Can run BF3 maxed out so I see no need for upgrades unless PS2 is much more graphics intensive.

This might belong in the Tech Forum. But my rig is:
Watercooled AMD Phenom X6 1100Thuban, Evga Geforce GTX 570 Superclocked, 16GB DDR3 G.Skill Ripjaws
Asus M4A79XTD-Evo Motherboard and a western Digital Caviar blue 500GB HDD.

Intel Q6600 @2.4GHz, an ATI 6850, 6GB DDR2 RAM, and the generic motherboard this PC came with originally. I won't be upgrading for this specifically, but I plan on rebuilding the rest of my PC later this year by salvaging the power supply and graphics card.
I bought my computer last summer thinking that PS2 would've been out in early 2012, but I think it's still good enough to run it on max
Core i5 2500
EVGA GTX 570

None of my hardware is being used to run Planetside 2 right now.
And that's the problem! :wantbeta:

I hope I never have to build another gaming desktop. It's like having a giant penis statue sitting in your bedroom that you stroke every night for entertainment.

I can run shogun 2 with 300 units per card, so around 20,000 men in one battle, and I can run BF3 with high-max setting, so hopefully I'll be able to run Planetside 2 like its meant to be run!

I just put together for PS2:
Cool Master Silent Pro M - Rated 80 Plus - SLI ready 1000W Power supply. For over clocking. Will need to buy a bigger Power Supply when I buy mor vid cards.
APC Battery backup dedicated for just this computer and its monitor.
AMD FX 8150 Eight Core Processor. (Not Listed on PS2 Web Site Survey):
(Gunessis Book Of Record holder for fastest silicon CPU chip) Non Overclocked at 3.6 Ghz - Turbo kicks it to 4.8 - Can manually overclock to 4.8 with no strain on system
Croshair Formular V MB. I can get two more video cards SLI them when the prices come down.
Nividia EVGA GTX 670 FTW 2 GB. Need two more of them-Note I put a lower end 1 gig card in to handle the physed but the 670 handles both extremely well.
Corsair Vengeance DDR3 16GB 2000MHz. You could do better but did not want to pay another $400. I have used these and never had a problem.
OCZ Vertex 3 SSD 120 GB for Windows and PS2 when it come out.(heard all the arguments but still best bang for the buck)
Win 7 Professional OEM - For a few xp Programs I have.
Coolmaster 100 for CPU (Self Contained CPU Cooling System for CPU)
Half 93X case (Nice and Roomie for good air flow.)
1 TB WDC Sata 7600 rpm Hard Drive for data. (room to put more in case as I need them)
24X CD/DVD by Liteon fastest in my market area.)
Windows 7 loads in 7.5 secs
Full graphical web pages less then 1 sec
Tested with 5 accounts of EVE online at Maximum Graphics options - both In and out of station very smooth - no vid lag.
At multi client optimization could put 10 accounts up (5 temp ones and 5 actual) Could have put a few more up but stoped, never going to have that many. Less then 50% Ram usuage.
World of Tanks really smooth and good looking.
Lord of the rings at ULTRA graphic settings not a problem
DC universe online again very smooth game play and sharp graphcs
Planetside1 with server population increased to 500 people - NO LAG
Note I have Cable Brighthouse Lightning setup with 40 MB DL and 5 UL + or - 1.5
