I just wanna know what a grunt can do if the form of "commanding" others. What i mean by this is can a regular infantry guy call in a airstrike (from someone not in your squad) to hit a tank on the other side of a hill without haveing to go through his commander that would have to go through his commander and so on. I know this would seem to put the commanders on the same level somethimes as the grunts but would add to the over all game play in my mind.

This couldnt be used very often adn there would need to be a system in place where you cant use it alot.

I dont know if this sounds stupid. I just think taht it would be cool becasue it would be cool to say "i need air support here" and then see a reaver come drop missle on the tank comeing towards you with out haveing to wait for the hierarchey to take command.

Well I guess you could use cht to ask for assistance from your Air squad....

You could chat somewhere and ask and hope someone comes in and answers your call.

Yes, it is assuming that pilots can take time out of their busy schedule (death, death, death, death, lunch, death, death...) to help you out with that tank.

The way I gather the command interface is that the commanders set hotspots, waypoints etc and it would require something like this in order for a pilot to get a hotspot to attack

That would be cool yeah, having a sort of binoculars or something to tag a target for air destcrutions.. Course pilots could choose wheter or not they want to recive the calls for assistance..

Would be cool =)
