The part that worried me is that he's going out of town for the week... And you would think Higby would be around when Beta starts. Then again, maybe they've finalized enough stuff while the big boss was around, and now it's just some tidying up to do before Beta launches and he doesn't necessarily need to be there when it starts??

A creative director isn't exactly necessary for tweaking the damage numbers on a weapon. Either way, it's not like we'll get daily patches during the beta for every little issue that crops up or people dislike. Everything takes time. Additionally, giving us time to grow accustomed to the new systems before reacting to every complaint I think is a good idea. A lot of people don't visit forums, and we have several members here that want PS2 to be PS1. Imagine how the outcry will look from oblivious vets whom are not forum goers as they walk into PS2 expecting PS1. They'll need a little time to adjust and see the benefits of all of the PS2 mechanics before anyone starts reacting to anything but bug reports.

I'm reminded of the quote, something along the lines of "If you see a light at the end of the tunnel, check to see if you're on train tracks."

I'm pretty sure anticipation has the same properties as a black hole.

On the plus side he would have a guaranteed position as entertainer... In a circus.

Soon.

"Soon" is the worst kind of Word for a Community which waits full of Excitement for Progress of their favourite Game.

The most stinky Crapline in MMO-History is: " When it's done! "

It's the same as most Producers would say: " When we got slim! " ... ... and you just know,
d~aaamn, that means we can wait forever... ... ... :-P

J~eeah, no bad Words about some Developer's and Producers of some Firm's... ...

greetings, LV.

I appreciate your profile pic to clarify, which type hair you are.
Thank Stendarr, you're the hair off his head.

I mean... the journey to beta has been dark and curvy... "curly" if you will...
:groovy: ANYWAY. :groovy:

The real tragedy is that Higby can't donate his hair :(

Yeah your rigth , many people (( vets )) especially want planetside 2 to be a copy and paste of Ps1 ... but its NOT and will never Be its a MAjor improovement compare to Ps1 on evey level , more custumisation , more intense firefight , more scales some vehicules as been remoove but some others have take the roles so it negate the lost of those but people tend to judge to quickly before mastering the new game ;)
