Normally on the internet, I go by fb39ca4 (google it if you don't believe me) but for some reason this forum does not allow for numbers in user names, and as such, I have had to get creative and use roman numerals in my name. Is there any reason why, and could it be changed in the future?

There are reasons for it.. though I don't know what they are. Gryphon will be able to explain better when he sees this. Pretty sure it had to do with the interaction between our various services.

Ah, that makes sense if you use the same login for other services.

Looks like you've found yourself a creative way to let people know what to call you ;)

Yes, mainly to ease interaction between the different pieces of software we use.
As a bonus, we don't support the spread of 1337.
What does your name mean?

i also think it's to stop people from using unoriginal, shitty names like ''LEETPOWNER810'' or ''NUB33TR103''.
god i hate names like that...
