ok in this pic (http://www.planetside-universe.com/media/viewer.php?img_id=549) it shows a little half box type thing next to the cursor or wahtever it is what is this. Is it the aiming thing or what it seems to be in a lot of pics.

My guess is that's in a stationary gun turret. Judging from the image on the map overview.

The person is in an aircraft. That meter thingy shows the altitude.

*edit: Look closely at the bottom of the HUD. It says Vehicle Armor and Afterburner. It must be an Aircraft.

couldnt be a gun turret...that ones taken from above the plane....looks like an altitude meter to me

From what i can tell it might be the angle of the aircraft relative to climb.

Ah, I guess I should have looked at both pics. Yeah, it's pretty obvious it's not a gun turret on that one. :D

I take many of my screens while flying in external view. That is the altimeter.
