Well, I installed Photoshop 5.5 tonight and created my first sig ever. Took me about 3 stinking hours since it was my first time ever in the program. I'm sure the next time will be faster. Whatcha all think?
As it is I think I'll make it wider and shorter. It looks all stubby and I can always shrink my pic, or include the rest of my buddies that were in that picture with me. The Outerglow on the lettering seems to have come out looking purple when I ment it to be blue. I'd also like to put a border on there.
I noticed that my fonts were really pretty limited, so after I got the sig up I went and downloaded a few freebees out there. What do you guys do, custom make the graphic instead of using text boxes or just scour around for cool fonts?
If anybody's got any pointers for a newb to PShop it'd be appreciated. Most notably, I'm trying to create a cloudy bar running beneath my name and quote, on top of my photo, but you can still see the background through the bar(the photo is the background layer). Also, the NC logo was seperated from it's original background through much to much time with the magic wand. is there a faster way?
Oh boy, lots of questions.
